OPERATIONS / DATA GOVERNANCE / 2024
From control redesign to real-time revenue visibility
I rebuilt the control logic behind disconnected sales, operating, and finance systems, then embedded it in a customer-level revenue monitor.
What had to be made clear
The visible issue was systems integration; the root issue was missing control ownership, workflow discipline, and data responsibility.
Where I carried the decision
As Finance Director, I led finance as the central design team across sales, operations, engineering, and data, from interviews and control mapping to build acceptance.
How the work moved from judgment to execution
01 Mapped control ownership across revenue, customer, usage, billing, and collections.
02 Interviewed frontline teams to design workflows people would actually use.
03 Converted business processes into system controls and acceptance criteria.
04 Coordinated build, testing, and launch with finance, sales, operations, and engineering.
05 Launched customer-level monitoring with next-day visibility and automated alerts.
What entered the operating system
↳ Business-finance control framework
↳ Process and system control map
↳ Revenue, pricing, usage, and billing reconciliation
↳ Customer-level revenue alert dashboard
